Praakaamya was the first ever assignment in the area of publication design for us. The project was a challenge, not only because it had a completely different design philosophy from the previous editions of the magazine, but also since the school was celebrating its golden jubilee year and the expectations were quite high from the faculty and students. We were a small group of editors, designers and artists coming together from different backgrounds to fulfill something exciting in terms of a student magazine, that even we/others had never tried before. Collecting articles, reviewing them, deciding on the layouts, typography, photographs, planning, answering the critics. It was a long journey for us, a journey I'm glad I was a part of.
